Moments in Time

September 2024

My work is a visual exploration of the landscapes I’ve encountered during my travels, captured in watercolor and gouache. Each piece serves as a window into a moment suspended in time, where reality and imagination blur together in a surreal dance. The landscapes I paint are more than just places; they are emotional landscapes, resonating with the hopefulness of new beginnings and the melancholy of endings.

In these works, there is a quiet stillness, a moody undercurrent that invites the viewer to linger, to feel the weight and lightness of the moment. The colors and forms I choose are deliberate, meant to evoke a sense of the uncanny—familiar yet distant, serene yet unsettling. Each brushstroke is an attempt to capture not just the scene before me, but the emotions that it stirs within.

Through these paintings, I seek to express the complexity of the human experience—how a single landscape can be both a place of solace and a reminder of our own transience. My art is a reflection of the world as I see it, filled with beauty, sadness, and an ever-present sense of wonder.
